Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world. This is a quote from the famous writer, William Faulkner. He was born in Mississippi in 1897. He was 97 when he died in 1962.

His greatest work of literature included "The Sound and the Fury" and "Absalom, Absalom." It is said that he once wrote a book by hand on a single sheet of paper. The book was called "Light in August."
